Rovers v SUFC Empty Rovers v Southend Utd

I thought the new signings played well, with Trenks doing what he could up front, albeit on his own in what appeared a 4-5-1 formation. Bealey was very confident and strong at the back showing some very nice footwork and touches throughout. All in all it was a competant display and I think if we had a natural striker in the side we may have tested their new keeper a bit more. Shame about the weather but it was still very well organised and well attended. Thanks to all those behind the scenes and especially all those that weathered the rain to come and watch.

All credit to everyone at BURROUGHS PARK who done a tremendous job in very wet conditions. The pitch was superb, the organisation excellent and the team done well also. I thought it was an excellent match and it looks very much like "Badger" has got some good signings in JAMIE SALMON, DANNY CROSS, DAN TRENKEL and MACCA in goal
